Wat is auriculotherapie?
Auriculotherapie is een gespecialiseerde vorm van acupunctuur waarbij het oor wordt gezien als een microsysteem van het hele lichaam. Ieder punt op de oorschelp correspondeert met een orgaan of lichaamsgebied in de hersenen.
Deze manier van genezen is door Paul Nogier ontwikkeld. Door middel van speciale frequenties van Nogier behandel ik de punten voor, waarna ik korrels plaats. Door specifieke punten te stimuleren met fijne naaldjes, zaadjes of kleine korrels wordt rechtstreeks invloed uitgeoefend op het zenuwstelsel en de hersenen. Dit maakt auriculotherapie een krachtige en tegelijkertijd zachte behandelvorm. Bijkomend voordeel is doordat de cliënt zelf de punten kan masseren het een langer durend effect heeft, waar de cliënt zelf invloed op heeft.
Waar kan auriculotherapie bij helpen?
Auriculotherapie kan worden ingezet bij:
- Dezelfde klachten als bij acupunctuur
- Stress en spanning
- Hoofdpijn en migraine
- Slaapproblemen
- Acute en chronische pijn
- Emotionele disbalans (angst, paniek, somberheid)
- Rookverslaving
- Alcoholverslaving
Door de directe invloed op het zenuwstelsel kan deze methode snel en effectief werken, met name bij verslavingsproblematiek.
Voor wie is auriculotherapie geschikt?
Auriculotherapie is geschikt voor mensen die:
- Gevoelig zijn voor reguliere acupunctuur
- Gerichte ondersteuning zoeken bij verslaving
- Een aanvullende of kortdurende interventie wensen
Het kan zowel zelfstandig als in combinatie met lichaamsacupunctuur worden ingezet.
Hoeveel sessies heb ik nodig?
Bij verslavingen wordt vaak gewerkt met een serie behandelingen in een relatief korte periode.
Bij andere klachten is het aantal sessies afhankelijk van de aard van de problematiek.
